Cold VS Flu:

Cold and flu symptoms are seen similar at first. But separate viruses cause these two conditions. Most of the symptoms are same for cold and flue. 

But also different symptoms has that you know which flu and which cold. 

The flue  usually lasts for 7 days  but the common cold lasts for 3-4 days.


Flu definition : Flu is a contagious respiratory diseases caused by Influenza virus. There are many people  flu deaths per year. The good way to prevent flu virus to get flu vaccine every year. Corona virus  such kind a flu virus. flu symptoms are more difficult than cold symptoms. 

Influenza is serious virus that leads to sickness every year. 

Influenza virus spread by infected droplets that enter another person body.


Flu symptoms: 

Body aches,

 Sore throat,

 Dry cough,

High fever,

Headache,

Stuffy or runny nose ,

vomiting and diarrhea etc.

Some times many people   affected flu without fever.

 Many people affected flu with fever.



Flu Season : There is no fixed date or time for the start of the flu season. 

you can get the flu at any time during the year .One is the flu in one country at atime. Influenza may spread lightly through populations throughout the entire year.

Flu season is an annually time period characterized by the spread of Appearance of influenza. 

Flu seasons usually runs from fall, winter and spring season. 

You will be infected with the flu  just as you would with a cold during the flu. 

Winter  weather makes flu more active.

 The seasonal flu is caused by the influenza A, B and C Viruses. 

Active tribe of influenza virus vary from year to year. 

That’s why Every year developed New flu vaccine. 

the flu can develop into a more serious condition Such as Pneumonia.


How flu spreads:  The flu is spread through droplet in the air.

 Influenza viruses are thought to spread is from sick person to person with flu cough, sneeze or talk . Most number of flu affected peoples  are  risky when  flu during  pregnancy, older adults, Young children,  Whose people weaken immune system like diabetes, heart disease etc.


Flu Recovery time: How quickly recover you  through, depends on how healthy you are.

People recover from the  flu about one week. Sometimes it may takes several more time for recover.

 It s important to say when you affected by flue virus you have need to stay home. 

Usually symptoms look  atleastt within 7 days . Some people have low energy for up to two weeks.


Flu treatment at Home :

Stay home at bedrest.

Don’t go outside.

Eat enough vitamin C  and  fruits.

Avoid cold food.

Drinking plenty and fluids.

Sleep as much as possible.

Cover your coughs and sneezes with tissue.

Eat healthy food.

Drink honey mixed with warm water.

Drink tea with mixed basil  leaves , honey, ginger, clove.

Eat warm chicken soup.

Gargiling with salt warm water.

Take warm baths and vapor rub.

Colds are sent through virus droplets that a sick person emit when they cough or sneeze. 

You can get cold during fall and winter season. Cold get better within 3-4 days or higst 1 week.

The symptoms of the common cold basically last two or three day after being affected. Sometime the cold  last 7 days.

Cold home remedies:  When you affected cold virus you follow some common cold treatment in the below:


 Gargeling with salt warm water,

 Using saline nasal spray,

Avoiding caffeine,

 Eat warm food,

 Eat vitamin C,

Eat honey ,lemon mixed with warm water,

If you have cough you drink warm water with mixed basil  leaves , honey, ginger, clove.

Stay warm and rested.

Take a vapoury weep.
